Meeting in Prague

MySQL Developer Conference in Prague

As part of my work with MySQL AB on their new Knowledge Base, I was invited to attend their developer conference in Prague, Czech Republic. The meeting was from May 2 to May 11, 2005. You can see me in this group photo: I’m the one kneeling in the front left, wearing the light beige jacket and hat on the left.

While at the private conference, I managed to squeeze in some time to do some sightseeing. I visited the Prague Caste, the Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge with all of its statues of Saints, and various other ancient historical sights. It’s all very spectacular. I also spent a good bit of time hanging out in one of the local coffee shops and strolling through a nearby middle-class neighborhood. It’s been a wonderful experience.
